Heswall is a friendly little town, with a good selection of small shops and eateries. Please do visit the book shop! From the outside it looks like any other shop, but step inside and you will be bowled over with what's on offer, which even includes a cafe. Heswall offers easy access to other destinations on The Wirrall, including the delightful West Kirby. Very nice quaint village, that I remember going there when I was a child. Lots of lovely coffee shops and restaurants. Short drive from some of the most beautiful places on the Wirral, such as West Kirby, Parkgate and the Wirral Way. Heswall is one of the main community/shopping centres on the Wirral Peninsula. Heswall alone - or indeed any of the other settlements on the Wirral - would not occupy most people long, or even for a short-stay. But, taken together, and being well-connected by road, rail and ferry to nearby Liverpool, Chester and rural north Wales, they offer a set of remarkably interesting and contrasting destinations for a week's stay - or even longer. Beautiful location with glorious grounds. Ample parking provision. Short road trip to Heswall. Excellent communication both prior to booking and post stay. Management obviously pay attention to reviews as previous comments about lack of hot drinks and bathroom provision had been taken on board and there was a large fan.
