Busy city, but we always find it easy to get where we want to be, either by walking, bus or tram. Plenty to see and do from shopping to sightseeing. People are usually friendly, especially in the places we visit, always seem happy to help with questions etc. This visit was for a gig at the Bridgewater Hall, a new venue for us, what a wonderful place it is for music. I finally came across the Emmeline Pankhurst statue too in St Peter’s Square. We also spent some time in Aflecks, one of my favourite places to visit, which is a cornucopia of independent, eclectic shops, be prepared to spend some time wandering around, as there are many small businesses spread over the three floors.Guest review byJaneUnited Kingdom - 8.0

There were a lot of run down buildings where we were near Deansgate. The tram/Metrolink is great we used it to get to the co-op live venue in the Etihad campus. I was shocked to be asked to move downstairs at 7pm as the bar was so quiet. I was not told 10 minutes before I was sat in the wrong place and this is a very busy city centre bar.
