We have had a fabulous weekend in a beautiful setting and what a view to wake up to! Steve and Fiona are fantastic hosts and couldn't do enough for us. The lodge has everything you need and more, Fiona has added the most perfect little touches. Thank you and we will definitely be visiting again 🙂

Met the new owner. Lovely guy. Very helpful. Even gave a few of us a free beer. Great location for a wedding nearby. Ongoing improvements to the property meant no breakfast available but this wasn’t a problem at all. Plus the communication about this from the owner was great. I wish him every success for the future.

We like the location, food, staff and prices. The location of the Calf’s Head is great, you are just off the A59, 5 minutes from Clitheroe, 25 minutes from Settle and an hour from the Lake District. You are made to feel at home and the food is really good using a lot of local produce.
