It is 'student accommodation', but if you are happy with that then it is fine. We ate at the Otley Brew Pub - great. Also at the cafe at the Lido in Pontypridd - the waffles were enormous so we ended up not eating another meal that day. Other than that we prepared food at the property. Full kitchen and loads of equipment. Close to the station so easy to get around. I would try to get there after 4.00 on the Friday, so that I didn't have a problem with the parking and have to move the car - a neighbour told me that he had been fined, so be careful.
