Owner is very nice and friendly. He doesn’t know English but he still tries to communicate. He is very welcoming. The hotel is very clean, even the toilets. The view is amazing! Early morning, you can smell the good cooking.

A really wonderful hotel in the middle of nature, in a quiet valley that offers amazing walks and scenery. Very well equipped rooms with feather blankets and beautiful views. Friendly staff, even a guest library, a lot of information about the area! Stayed for two nights after the mestia-ushguli hike, just to stay a bit more in the mountains. A unique and exceptional place, highly recommended!

🌟 We had an absolutely perfect stay at Svanieri Cottage. The place is even more beautiful than the photos, cozy, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. The view is breathtaking, and the common area was ideal for celebrating a birthday with close friends. Everything was smooth: check-in, communication, and the overall vibe. We felt right at home. Phenomenal stay, gorgeous mountain views, comfortable rooms, delicious food and generous hosts + We had a phenomenal stay at Gethauz afrasidze The property is beautiful and remote with gorgeous views of Mts. Ushba and Mazeri; the hosts were immensely generous, accommodating, and flexible and prepared one of the most delicious dinners we had in all of Georgia so we were fueled for long hikes in Svaneti. I’d highly recommend getauz afrasidze for the most idyllic and comfortable stay in Mazeri.

I had an amazing stay in this beautiful, peaceful environment, a small village surrounded by mountains. It’s a truly lovely remote place to relax and enjoy. The hosts were very welcoming, always making sure I had a great stay and helping me with anything I needed. Great location. Beautiful view. The owner was nice and friendly. It looks like in the pictures. We were hesitating between a couple of locations in the area, but we are glad we went for this one. It is a cottage, do consider this - though you won't most probably get 'fancier' in the surroundings. The breakfast was good and we had some jam for once!
