This was the nicest accomodation I’ve stayed at in terms of the condition of the hotel and extremely nice owners. When we checked in, we found out that the nearby restaruant was closed and because it was all dark already, my partner was worried about driving. So we wanted to just eat whatever snacks we had. We had some canned tuna and some dried oatmeal. So the owners were kind to offer us each a bowl with hot water so we can cook our instant oatmeal so we have some food for the night. Then upon checking into our room, the room is spacious , quiet, nicely decorated , and has a pretty ambience to it. The shower was also very unique since it shoots water out in multiple directions - from the top, neck area, stomach area, and a handheld faucet. We had a very nice restful sleep there. And for breakfast, we didnt get their buffet breakfast and ordered an expresso Freddo instead. They offered a complimentary homemade pie which was very delicious and nice of them. The house is completely rebuilt in an authentic way to the area and offers state of the art electricity, bathroom, kitchen, windows etc. It was spotlessly clean and smelled very pleasant. The kitchen is part of the communal area and is very well equipped to do some serious cooking. Lucas was very helpful in giving tips where to go and easy to chat with. The house is perfectly located at the entrance of the area so you can easily get everywhere. I‘ll be back!

The hotel was really traditional and cosy. The room was spacious and very comfortable with a large balcony and a great view of the mountains and the beginning of the Vikos gorge. Breakfast was homemade and delicious. The small village of Elati was pretty and a perfect place to spend a white Christmas. The location was handy for exploring the rest of the Zagori area.

Our stay at Shamrock Elati was unique, since we felt like we were in a family. It's a quiet, traditional hotel, with magnificent views and excellent hospitality from the owners. Breakfast from Ms. Popi is amazing but the same applies to every food/dessert produced by her kitchen. The next time we visit Zagorochoria, for sure we will stay at Shamrock Elati again.

The hotel is located in Zagori area and fits those who wish to go around this area (otherwise it is in the middle of no-where). The hotel is very comfortable, the team is very friendly and keen to help, the food is outstanding (dinner is optional, too). All in all - we were very happy and pleased with the hotel and the staff.

We loved our stay at Hotel Athina. The hotel is in a perfect location that overlooks the mountains and from there you can do day trips to different parts of Zagorochoria. The rooms were spacious and nice. The breakfast was superb and the owners and staff were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!
