The location was perfect for us, right next to the port where we needed to catch a ferry the next morning. It was also right by several restaurants within walking distance for dinner and breakfast. Check in was easy. The host was extremely friendly and helpful getting us checked in and giving us information about when to leave the next morning to catch the ferry.

Big hotel which do not feel big or crowded even in the main season is the strongest side. Even non-deluxe rooms are nice, spacy, comfortable and very clean. We had smaller pool 5m from the door and bar just little further, nice. Never felt crowded. Beach is short walk and nice but sea is not extremely clean there, some sea grass were common. Food is nice variety, but some is different every day. Always good.

Location location location!! Steps from Nosto and Kali Karina restaurants and the pier to the ferries. Simple, but very clean. Antoni was amazing. We arrived at midnight and he still insisted on picking us up. As well as being convenient, he saved us a 20 euro taxi ride! He was very kind and thoughtful as well.

Mastichari is a small unspoiled quit fishing village with great, budget friendly tavernas, you can seat all day in one of them , sip your cocktail or enjoy freshly catches fish prepared for you, and admire beautiful sea vews in front of you, or just walk a few steps down to the beach and have a refreshing dip in the sea. when you order anything from seafront tavernas, you have sun beds and umbrella for free for all day !

Mastichari is lovely!

Mastichari is lovely! It is a chilled Greek village beside a beach with a small terminal for ferries to / from Kalymnos, and a bus stop that will get you to Kos town or the airport. There is a nice variety of tavernas for traditional Greek food, and a handful of bars. Prices in Mastichari are much cheaper than in Kos town! There are a selection of shops that sell a mixture of groceries, booze, and souvenirs. If you need a big supermarket, head up the hill out of the village and you will come to Constantinos, which has everything you need. There's also plenty of places to hire cars etc. The beach is right beside the village. It is very chilled. There are no noisy bars churning out loud music, or noisy motorised watersports. There are some sunbeds, but the beach is not dominated by them. Most of the holiday makers we saw were, like us, middle aged or older (this is not a criticism!). If you are younger and / or want a lively nightlife, this village may not be for you. Everything is fairly flat (unless you go up that big hill above the village), but you will need to tackle a step or two to get into shops and tavernas. The smaller hotels here will have stairs, not lifts, so do your research if accessibility is an issue for you.

We found Mastichari to be a very pleasant place to spend a relaxing week and we would certainly like to return there. It's such a short transfer from the airport but so peaceful and charming. We spent most of our time on the beach by Mastichari village where we used the sunbeds at one of the restaurants (free if you buy a drink). It was also nice to walk along the wilder stretch of beach and stop for a swim. In the evening there are plenty of restaurants and bars in the beach area and also by the harbour. We went by ferry to Kalymnos one day from the harbour at Mastichari. We were there towards the end of September and there were plenty of people around but enough space for everyone on the beach and in the restaurants. Definitely a place to return to!

A very friendly , clean and pretty seaside village with it’s own small harbour for fishing boats, ferries and day trippers The Village is very clean with pedestrian walkways throughout the village leading to all the small tourist shops and tavernas. Many tavernas are beachfront with a lovely chilled vibe . No loud music or competition between taverna owners just a good mix of cuisine from rustic Greek to modern . Choice of travel agencies offering car hire and day trips to local attractions over the island at very reasonable prices. No shortage of sunbeds or places to eat. Small supermarkets and one larger one that cater for all your self catering needs. Perfect place for couples of all ages and famalies

The hotel provided us activities and entertainment everyday for all kind of families, younger kids or teenagers, couples or just friends. My kids (20 and 17) enjoyed the 2 different pools, one was calm for adult the other one was busy for kids and families. There was a short walk to Mastichari village with plenty of bars and restaurants, and cash machine if you need it.

A pleasant seaside village but with more and more 'all -inclusive resorts' encroaching all the time. The locals still offer traditional shops and there are plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. The port offers regular ferries to Pothia on Kalymnos, so if you fancy a change of island it's easily done.

One of our favourite places for a chill-out holiday. Just 10 mins drive from the airport and an easy walk to the beach and village of Mastichari. The accommodation is immaculate. We booked a deluxe double, which was very comfortable. It was so good to have a modern bathroom, too. Enjoyed breakfast a couple of times and most days finished our evenings at the bar which has a nice vibe. Pepe makes a very good gin and tonic and has a good playlist. Thank you Pepe, Costas and the team for another great holiday.

We spent seven nights @ Panorama Studios and can't wait to be back again soon. We were greeted by the smile of Krisoula who gave us the best welcome: we had the opportunity to appreciate her and the great Staff throught the week and can only speak wekk for their kindness and professionality. The Bar serves by far the best Cappuccino (Italian proof) we could find in Kos, and the food for dinner is excellent. Having the view of the sea is definitely a must so be sure you get a sea view room!

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It was present a kitchen and a terrace. We enjoyed also the very good breakfast prepared by Sokratis and his colleagues. The structure is just a few minutes by foot far from the beaches of Mastichari. We also rented a car and the service was perfect. It was like to stay at home :-) I suggest to stay here if you are looking for a quiet place. Sokratis is very nice and very professional.
