This house is heaven, spectacular views 360° , fully equipped, even to stay for few days without going anywhere. Just one suggestion maybe needing a washing machine and a bbq area. But it's amazing, 12 minutes to centre of areopoli and close to a wonderful pebble beach

Not much to say because this place is fabulous. Excellent in everything. The room, location,pool, and breakfast were wonderful. The staff were nice and helpful. The food at the dinner was very good.

!Akrolithi Hotel & Suites is a wonderful place to stay. The proprietor and her family were amazing and every detail including the beautiful furniture in the room, the smell, the products, the views, the food, the simplicity and kindness with which we were met - was fantastic! I hated to leave and would not hesitate to stay there again and recommend that others do the same. Although you could walk into town from there, it is probably best to have a car because it is a narrow main road from which you exit. Thank you Akrolithi, until next time!

Everything was fantastic. The stuff was very kind and more than willing to help and accommodate any needs. The breakfast was great with lots of choices. Our room was very clean and had the sea view. The location is also good with parking available and nice beaches and sightseeing nearby. I totally recomend this facility, I would visit again in the future :)

    This is a tiny rural village.

    This is a tiny rural village. It has a coffee shop, two good restaurants and two shops that sell locally made ceramics. There is no grocery store. The tourist attraction is the Caves of Dirou, and we recommend seeing that. This is a place to relax, kick back and see a traditional Greek area of stone buildings and scenery. You will need a car to get around.

    Village is small but very cute, everything is made of stone...

    Village is small but very cute, everything is made of stone and looks as if it came from a fairy tale. However, not much content here (couple of markets and restaurants), it is a good starting point to visit other places in Mani. The location is good and everything which Mani offers is reachable by car (in our opinion, it is necessary to go by car or rent one if you travel here). Diros caves are very close, we strongly recommend to visit them (take longest tour, it is amazing experience both for adults and kids), and Diros beach next to them as well (it is cute and water seemed crystal clear). Areopoli is very close, Gytheio also not far away - you can find more restaurants and shops there.

    The area is just beautiful.

    The area is just beautiful. We enjoyed a day in Gytheio, followed by a fabulous coastal road that led us to Kotronas. We enjoyed a swim in Lemeni followed by a walk and dinner in Areopoli. The sunset from there is breathtaking. We beat the busses and enjoyed the caves of Diros early in the moring. We explored Gerolimenas and found some wonderful restauants.

    Pirgos Dhirou was our base.

    Pirgos Dhirou was our base. For cave's fans the main landmark is Dhiros caves 500 m from Panorama rooms. They are extraordinary but they do not belong to our interests. We did not visit shops or restaurants at Pirgos Dhirou. Only a nice shop with ceramics provided by a very sympathetic couple where we bought some beautiful items.
