The guesthouse is amazing, completely immersed in nature and just a short walk from Koanara Village. The owner, Sipriano, is a truly kind and helpful person. He knows everything about the area and gives great advice on how to visit Kelimutu and the surroundings. The breakfast is also excellent, with lots of delicious fresh fruit and a tasty banana pancake. Highly recommended!

Great location just outside of the “city”, so you wont have scooters and cars making noise during the night, just the sounds of nature. Benny, the guy in charge, is absolutely amazing. Always happy to help, and always there to greet you with a smile. Made my stay super comfortable.

We had a great stay at Santiago. Muni and his family belong to the Lio ethnic group. What incredible kindness! The accommodation is very clean. Simple and comfortable. And a few meters away is a restaurant with a simple but tasty and generous menu. Very good adress.

The kindest and most welcoming hosts, set in the beautiful location of Moni. Hans, Emelda & family really made us feel like we were at home - from inviting us to their Son’s celebration one evening, tending to our injuries after we took a fall, arranging buses for us, and organising for their Nephew Anton to show us around his village. Great location for Kelimutu. Very sweet landlady. In nice weather, you have a balcony looking over the whole village. There’s a very atmospheric bar/restaurant about five mins away that does really good live music. We got invited to a local holy communion which was a crazy introduction to local culture. Very welcoming local community.
