We had an amazing time staying with Laurent. The house is beautiful and very well decorated, with an incredible open view across the jungle especially the amazing sunsets. We could wake up to the sound of the birds singing in the morning and it's the perfect place to just rest and read in the middle of nature. Laurent made us some lovely food for lunch and dinner including an incredible fish soup and the pancakes for breakfast were exceptional! Nothing to complain about and we would definitely come back again. He said they will have WiFi later this year, but actually it's the perfect place to digital detox....just make sure you bring some books! He can arrange day trips to waterfalls etc., but we chose to just relax at the house. There are lots of comfy places to sit or lie around. Recommend to use Laurent's driver for transfer as the approach road is a little tricky but no issue for his driver (there are plans to pave the road ).

Truly unique place to stay. It's a bit outside of LBJ, so you need a scooter. We stayed for one night, mostly because of the food and we weren't disappointed. If you stay here book half-board. The dinner was the highlight of our whole trip (I still dream of that smoked chicken). Also the staff is so nice, we would stay again. Bathrooms are shared but very clean.

We all love our villa with private pool! Everything was exceptional starting from the staff, the nature and the Villa itself! The location is a bit far if you consider day trips to Labuan bajo and day trips to Komodo Island but totally worth it! I wished to stay one more day just to enjoy our villa and the surrounding village Mbeliling!

The house and its surroundings ware absolutely magnificent. Great bed, and a view to die for. Jungle vibes all around. Very clean, very comfortable and spaceous. The swiming pool is picture perfect, albeit not very big. Great knowledgeable host who is very friendly and helpful. You can have excellent freshly cooked breakfast and dinner in the house, prepared by wonderful Femi. We had an amzing time and couldn't stop taking pictures and video's of the house and the view :-) Too bad we stayed only 2 nights.

It over performs as a hostel more like a boutique hotel. I would say its a WORLD-CLASS hostel. Staff, Food, Rooms, all exceptional. Well Managed. Clean- Bravo on Housekeeping. View is stunning. Its THE PLACE TO BE on the Island. I had a fantastic stay - Blair. All BAD reviews seem very much a one-off and petty. Our stay at Katamaran Hotel & Resort Komodo was absolutely magical. This hotel is magnificent, with an absolutely incredible view. The staff are adorable, warm, and always attentive, which made us feel so welcome. (a special mention to Dita, who was really adorable and took cate of us when we arrived.) Everything is spotless – the hotel is very clean, and the rooms are both spacious and extremely comfortable. A very special thank you to the whole team for their kindness and quick reaction when my sister had a little incident with sea urchins. They immediately took care of her and even offered complimentary massages as a generous gesture. ❤️ The restaurant Cliff is outstanding, serving delicious and varied dishes that we enjoyed. The massages were also amazing – such a perfect way to relax and unwind And the breakfast served as a buffet was absolutely complete. All in all, this hotel is the perfect place for an unforgettable experience, and I can recommend it 1000%! ✨
