The place seems a bit on the depressing side despite the beautiful views over water and sea.Maybe it is because I arrived when it was wet. Not not enough happening and despite excellent connection with Cork the place is to sad with houses that definitely need a lick of pink and dampness sorted. Very unique Irish town with beautiful picturesque buildings. Plenty of great restaurants to choose from for breakfast and dinner. Full of rich history like the Titanic and Spike Island. Bring walking shoes for the hilly streets! Seasalt, Leonardo's and Wan Fu were all great eats and the coffee especially in Seasalt. Lovely service everywhere. Not much to do after the two big attractions (in the actual town), there is two smaller museums and a lovely Cathedral.
