The area is beautiful, don't get me wrong. It is very very distant however, with complete lack of services. Don't expect pharmacies, selection of restaurants or even a large variety of activities. We visited dead in the middle of winter, but the heat and humidity make it virtually impossible for any sort of hiking or other extended physical activities.
