    On this trip, we had gone with the specific intent to pay obeisance at Anantapadmanabhaswamy Temple, Anantapur, Good vegetarian food is available at Udupi hotels. One place enroute to Kasargod is a deviation to Muthappan temple, Parasininkadavu..( 5kms from highway) .A hotel, Ella ( Leaf- in Malayalam) serves excellent food- fresh mackerel was served for breakfast!!!
