Pune is my old haunt. From NDA days in 1967 till date have stayed in Pune many times. It is changing fast. I miss old Pune. Old Marzorin, Budhani wafers, Pasteur Bakery, Kayani biscuits. Missed the old landmark; The Westend Cinema.

Pune is a vibrant city that beautifully blends modernity with tradition. It has a lively cultural scene, excellent educational institutions, and a growing IT and business hub. The weather is generally pleasant, making it a comfortable place to live and visit. The city offers a mix of historical landmarks, like Shaniwar Wada and Aga Khan Palace, along with modern cafes, shopping areas, and entertainment options. The local cuisine is diverse and delicious, with plenty of street food and fine dining experiences. Pune also has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, with people from all walks of life coexisting harmoniously. Sorry to say, But Pune local People do not have driving sense, specially bikers, every one is in hurry and Horn is blow like pulse rate, never it is quite. if you even put slight break, the rear person start honking. Too stressful.

Pune is generally vibrant but, never to step inside the Four Points by Sheraton - Marriott Bonvoy. The hotel is out to tarnish the brand Marriott Bonvoy. I seriously think the merger with Four Points by Sheraton should be cancelled.
