The location of the Owl apartment was perfect for our long day on the Snaefellsnes peninsula. The apartment was furnished with everything we needed. Cute owls watched over our rest all night. The owner has put so much care into furnishing and decorating this little apartment. We had a huge private bathroom with towel warming rack and toiletries. There is a small table with two chairs, and a coffee machine with a variety of coffee, teas, and hot chocolate provided, along with plates, mugs, and utensils, and a small fridge for our groceries. The bed is so comfy and the neighborhood is quiet so we had a relaxing rest. Our schedule did not give us time to enjoy our private fenced outdoor garden area with seating. The communication with the owner was excellent, and information for self check-in was sent well in advance. We even had a convenient parking space right in front. If we are ever in Iceland again, we'll definitely stay at the Owl apartment.

This is the 2nd time we stayed at this property. The last Iceland trip we had 10yrs ago, we stayed here. The cabin looks in the same cleanliness, though after 10yrs, it does look a little aged. But the overall comfort and cleanliness is still good. We would still come here the next time we visit Iceland.

Wonderful place, would recommend it to everyone! Very clean, extremely warm and cozy. Location is great (for aurora lights :D), close to Reykjavik but still off beat. Great point for exploring Golden circle. Has all amenities listed. I will come back next time I am in Iceland.

Fantastic stay. Rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable, the lobby/breakfast area was cozy (and lit up with candles for the dark December days), and the staff went above and beyond to help us out.

Breakfast was amazing!! the items were fresh and hot when we arrived. And we went at different times each day. The location was perfect. We were able to use Bus Stop 1 for a day trip and for Fly Bus. The front desk helped me schedule my flybus pick up the night before. Everyone was super helpful. This was our second trip to Reykjavik, and first time at Center Plaza Hotel. Will return to this location for another stay very soon!
