We loved our stay at the cute, cozy, and very Icelandic cabin at the Magma Hotel. It felt very private, and the view of the lake and woods and horses across the lake were superb. Our buffet breakfast was delicious with lots of tasty variety to choose from. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I don't know where to begin. The hotel itself is lovely and the location is great. Before we arrived I contacted the hotel to tell them it would be my friend's birthday and they definitely went above and beyond to make this special day even more special! When we arrived we were immediately made to feel welcome. The staff, Waldemar, was incredibly friendly, asked about our day and mentioned his congratulations to my friend. It felt so authentic!! We were upgraded to a room and when we entered the room there was a birthday surprise waiting for us - more than I could have ever asked for or expected. After we went into the room, Waldemar even came out with a very tasty cake and a candle. What a nice, beautiful gesture! Even when we checked out, the staff were super friendly and knew about his birthday. It was so impressive! Special thanks to the hotel and especially to Waldemar for making this possible! We absolutely loved our stay. It was the perfect way to spend the birthday!
