The view from the igloo was great, we saw northern lights! It is very comfortable and cozy (in October, 7°C), we even had a heating blanket. Also, you can have privacy using the curtains. The adjacent guesthouse was very nice for cooking and spending time, the cats were very cute and the staff lady made cake for us!

Great remote spot to take in the Aurora and the night tranquility was like new with great staff happy to give helpful tips and advice on the local area, was options for food and breafast was great.

What is not to like, on behalf of my parents in law who stayed at the hotel for two nights, they absolutely loved their stay. They enjoyed their warm and welcoming room which was both neat and clean with easy access to the restroom.

If you prefer more secluded place it's a great choice. Great location to see Drífandi and Gluggafoss waterfalls. Very calm and cozy hotel. I was there in the off season (in the middle of March) and we were the only guests there. We had an amazing private breakfast because of that! Totally recommended.

The scenery was picturesque and we managed to see the Northern Lights in this amazing view from our cute balcony! It was like we lived in a farm fairytale. The memories will forever stay on our minds. We didn't have the time to use the hot tub, but it looked incredible and we hope we will have the chance to visit again! The room was warm, clean and had a lovely decoration.
