What a joy it was to stay at Elise and Elena’s place! From the moment we arrived, Elise’s warmth and care shone through in every detail. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated, spacious, and filled with thoughtful touches. Taking showers while looking out over the ocean felt like such a luxury, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Each morning, Elise prepared us a delicious breakfast and generously shared her knowledge of the island, even organising dinners out for us. Thanks to her, we felt like we experienced the island in its most authentic and peaceful way. We especially loved relaxing with the yoga mats, reading in the hammock, and simply soaking in the quiet beauty of the surroundings. We truly felt so well looked after, and at the same time, Elise helped us connect with the local ways and spirit of the island in a very respectful way. This was a quintessential experience that we’ll cherish, and we can’t wait to return both to this beautiful island and to Elise’s wonderful place again.

The hospitality of the owners was wonderful. Friendly and welcoming. They also went out of their way to send on an item that we had left via the ferry to Milazzo. Villa La Rosa is a peaceful base from which to explore beautiful Filicudi.

The property was a lovely eolian style fisherman house. The small kitchen was handy to prepare protein based breakfast although it is strategically in front of cafe/restaurant and the terrace was except to relax. The best part of the stay was Fabrizio, he was very caring and helps us to have the best stay ever!
