Bitonto is the town of my ancestors.
Bitonto is the town of my ancestors. It was my first time in Italy, and I went to Bitonto to do research on my family. it’s a beautiful town with kind people, excellent food and historic buildings and churches. Not as full of tourists as Lecce and other popular tourist destinations. Pleasant architecture, not quite as rococo as Lecce. More of a local feel. At a first sight it is nothing more than a city near airport, where you sleep last night before your flight departs. They helped us to get to the hotel and told us a bit about the city. The facility is located in the old part of Bitonto, which felt very cosy and gave a good Italian vibe.
