Great selection of bars, restaurants and cafes, well situated on the lake to get to other parts by bus or boat. Compact town. very easy and quick to get around. Got up and down the lake to Sirmione, Gard, Malcesine, over to Limone. Portese and Gardone slower pace but lovely on the West side of the lake. Classique is a must restaurant as is is Taverna Marconi in Lazise. Too many nice bars to name. Nice market while we were there with great food and leather goods. We didn't do watersports but there are plenty of options, big motor camper sites in the town.

Lazise is easy to navigate being flat, car free, full of shops, reastaurants, historic sites and a ferry to explore other ports on beautiful Lake Garda. There are beaches within walk-in distance. There is paid parking outside the town walls and some handicapped parking available on the streets.

Pacengo has enough choice of restaurants is quiet and rural and a little bit off the track of the main lake tourist trail but the lake is easily walkable . Buses run to other areas of the lake and Verona

The lake walks and plenty of entertainment, bar and restaurants along the way. But some places don't understand English much and they tend to roll their eyes at you and walk away. So you end up waiting for a better staff to come along and serve you. Smile and be patient with visitors, it doesn't cost nothing.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Lazise. 5 mins walk to Lake Garda for an early morning swim, bars and restaurants on our doorstep. Lazise is a great base for exploring Lake Garda's many charming towns! Highly recommend walking to Bardolino (about an hour along the lake) and jumping on the ferry back if you've had one glass of wine too many (easily done in this 'wine' town)! Will definitely be back to explore more of this beautiful part of Northern Italy and will definitely use Lazise as a base again :-)

One of the beautiful small towns at Garda lake shore. Tasty food, nice people and lots of restaurants shops etc. Close to the Gardaland. A bit crowded and beaches are commercial (I prefer wild ones at North) but definitely recommend
