The room was clean and nicely prepared, the reception team was very friendly and helpful. It was our first time in Venice and the hotel is very well prepared for tourists who go to see Venice. We were given a map on how best to get into the city and they navigated us very well. The location of the hotel is very good, a 5 minute walk to the local public transport which takes you directly to Venice in 15 minutes. Parking is also no problem. You can park your car right in front of the hotel or if there is space, the receptionist will let you park behind the gate in the courtyard. At other hotels, parking is very complicated or charged. Here there is no problem. The breakfast is rather simple but fully sufficient. In addition, you get coffee of your choice from the coffee machine + butter croissant, so satisfaction. For lunch or dinner, you can go to a great Italian restaurant for pizza or pasta, also within a 5 minute walk. For a 2 star hotel, such a big positive surprise for comfort, service, availability and good price.

it is really nice hotel, very clean, and modern. Very good breakfast. We had an early flight, they packed an early breakfast for us, extremely good customer service. We were using public transport, nearest bus halt is 800m away. It doesn't feel tiring though, we travelled end of October. The bus to take is 6L from "Piazza Mercato" to go to Venice Island.

We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel! The rooms are clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything you need. The staff is friendly, always ready to help and answer any questions. Belvedere is small and beautiful hotel, with clean and comfortable room. The bedlinen was clean and fresh. The bed comfy enough. Special thanks to staff for spotless shower. The staff at the Belvedere were very polite and friendly. The environment was pleasant and welcoming. The check-in and check-out were very easy. There are two food shops within walking distance. We used public transport to get Venice. The bus stop was close as well(5-7min). It was even better than I expected from hotel of this price range. Recommend

    Marghera is an ugly, industrial port city close to Venice. Nobody travels to that region to see Marghera, obviously Venice is the attraction. Our cruise was departing and returning to Marghera. This is why we stayed there.

    Marghera is very close and accessible to the center of Venice. The neighborhood is pleasant and quiet, and yet, stores and transportation are very close by. Restaurant are also close, but it was nice to have breakfast at Dear Venice Bed and Breakfast.

    The hotel was only a short walk to the railway station which was a priority for me as I took the train to main island of Venice everyday of my stay. I felt safe walking back to the hotel at night on my own.

    Great place to stay if you want to visit Venice on the cheap...

    Great place to stay if you want to visit Venice on the cheap. There was a lovely pizzeria down the road called 'Pizzeria Al Calesse'. They did the best pizzas and Italian food we eat on our stay. The staff were very friendly and spoke English. Great value and amazing food. Also, there was a lovely English style pub called 'MARCIANO PUB MARGHERA', which did many beers and served burgers.

    Hotel Roma was where my partner and I stayed.

    Hotel Roma was where my partner and I stayed. We felt it was perfect for what we came to Marghera for - to visit Venice. If you want to stay close to Venice, but not actually IN Venice, this hotel was perfect for that. It's a 1-2 block walk away from the closest bus stop to get you in/out of Venice without the hustle and bustle of a tourist hotspot. The complimentary breakfast was also worth waking up early for.

    This place is amazing! If you are going to Venice, this is the best option! Nice price and excellent quality! We really liked it! We want to go back there again! There is everything you need and it is better than just a hotel! Your own house and the opportunity to eat outdoors at a table! It's amazing!! Thank you very much!

    Next to hotel is a bus stop where the bus takes you to Venice it's about 20 min journey, breakfest is not big only croissant ( but very good ) and drink but it was enough to keep me going till lunch time. Room was clean and staff very nice and helpful. Overall very good stay.
