Sea, mountains, forest so beautiful! The town has a few bars and restaurants enough for a week- 10 days though if you go down to the beach there are lots more there, but it’s a drive from the town it’s too far to walk. The only way to get here is by car and there really is not...
The only way to get here is by car and there really is not much to do in the area. Mattinata is a quaint town with a few eateries which are not that varied. To access the beach again is a drive with parking a problem at times. We went to Vieste for the day but it was a hair raising drive home in the dark. We also went to Monte St. Angelo which again is worth seeing but only a day is needed for here. Manfredino is not a very picturesque area quite industrial in parts. A week is long enough in this area and you will have seen all there is to see. However it is a lovely destination if you are happy to be by the pool for a relaxing break, although it is 2 hours from the airport.Guest review byAnnIreland - 8.0

Cozy city on a hill-side. A couple of good restaurants (with a sea / city overlooking view), make sure you make a reservation to those ones, we were there off-season, and had difficulties having a table... Main street closed for cars (which is good) during season. Lovely village having 2 parts: one up on the hill with pretty narrow streets & one down by the seaside, where houses/villas/B&Bs are hidden by an orchid of olive trees.
