A wonderful place to stay when visiting Varenna. The room was excellent—spacious, clean, and equipped with a washing machine, which is especially convenient for long trips like us when you need to do some laundry. The breakfast was good, and the lady at reception was very kind and helpful. I particularly enjoyed the trail walk down the hill to Varenna town, where I discovered an amazing restaurant. Walking back up trail to the hotel after dinner was an unforgettable experience

We love everything. First the kindness of the staff, especially Monica who helped me make a surprise for my wife, she organized everything and it was perfect, and Ana and Marco who work at the restaurant are nice people. The hotel is amazing, it has a jacuzzi in front of the lake where you can drink and enjoy the view. The rooms are very nice overlooking the lake. It was all wonderful.

It's a lovely position, a few hundred metres from the lake, no traffic. The hotel is very well maintained and managed. Exceptionally clean. Pool area is perfect set amongst trees and lawn. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast. Would love to come back and will recommend it to all.

    The new from the apartment is stunning. Other than that ...it's miles from anywhere. Not all lit night. Facilities very average. WiFi and tv signal poor. Fridge/freezer seems noisy, hot to touch and somewhat unsafe.

    Beautiful area to visit, a lot to see. Easy to take boats over to other smaller towns as Varenna, Bellagio and others Nice restaurants all over with very nice food Recommend e bike tour were you bike along the Como lake and up to mountains

    It was an adventure for us since my husband can drive a manual car, but not comfortably. The road to mountain is not easy for him. But that is just our limit. Other drivers may not care, the drive is scenic and beautiful.

    It is a great place. We only stayed one night but it would be a great place to base yourself to explore the area. The staff were cheerful and helpful and the food was delicious. They had plenty of parking with a garage for motorcycles. Views into the mountains around. The road up to the hotel is quite steep and twisting but for me on a motorcycle it was enjoyable. A great find and if I’m ever in the area I’ll definitely be back.

    - the staff was very friendly and really helpful - the view from the restaurant/ breakfast terrace was great - the bed (in the double bed room) was very comfortable - the room and bathroom were very clean and spacious - nice breakfast (for Italian standards) - close to the hiking route up Rifugio Menaggio - bus stop basically in front of the hotel (bus takes you down to Menaggio)
