This hotel is very cozy and nice, and you feel it once you arrive, feels like home! Everything is so neat and stylish. The room looks brand new, so every time you come back after promenade you feel super comfortable. The staff is super friendly - from guys who welcome and check you in to amazing women who serve the breakfast. When we arrived there was a guy named Umberto - such a nice Italian man who welcomed us so warmly and recommended a lot of amazing tasty restaurants. On my Birthday they surprised me and presented me a cake while we were having breakfast. It was super nice! By the way, as to the breakfast - it was quite good and tasty. If you’ve been to Europe before, you know that a typical European breakfast is not smth really special, but I guess that this hotel has a pretty nice choice. Location is just amazing! It’s only 10 mins walk to Trevi fountain, Spanish steps; the Colosseum is a bit further, but trust me you can walk there, especially with coffee&meal stops, so you’ll not get tired. We didn’t use any public transport at all. And one more important thing- the hotel is kind of hidden in the narrow street, so it’s not noisy, that’s a great bonus I guess. So, I’m so happy that I chose this hotel. Many many thanks to the guys who work there, you’re making this place special.

I really liked this place and its energy, it has a good vibe and everyone is very nice. Cleaning is perfect and so is their breakfast. I recommend this place to stay in Rome since with metro station 5 minutes walking or with bus right in front. Near the metro station you have a square with Caravaggio's paintings in a church, a must.

Rome is a beautiful city that has amazing historical buildings and a rich culture. DON'T visit in October as it is peak month for tourism and the crowds were massive. Getting around Rome on the underground was easy but some attractions were a 20 minute walk away.

Book tickets (if needed) on official sites in advance.

Book tickets (if needed) on official sites in advance. Easy to do for Pantheon, Colosseum etc. Most sites are free though and easy to find even though Rome is a bit of a maze. If you want to see the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel (who wouldn't?) you will need to buy a ticket to the Vatican Museum. The normal priced tickets are 20.00EU each but you will not be able to buy at this price. You will need to buy a ticket in advance online as impossible to buy on the day due at the official ticket offices due to massive queues. Try and buy as early as possible otherwise you will miss out unless you want to spend multiple hundreds of Euros to tour companies or touts. We've left comments about this in our main review. Otherwise, Rome is ace, walk a lot and take it all in. Part of the joy of Rome is just random walking and finding amazing sights.

Rome was fantastic.

Rome was fantastic. I am from NYC, and it had a similar energy vibe but, of course, so much older and with so much history. I went to other parts of Italy on a small cruise, and it was so overcrowded, but Rome, while still crowded, was so much more manageable. If you were not at the tourist spots it felt like just a large city. Even those spots, if you had a guide, were manageable. I would go back.

We loved walking around the streets and taking everything in. It is a city full of character and history. The restaurants we liked the best were all around the pantheon although we also visited other parts of the city. Highly recommend a tour of the colosseum, although it is very pricey!

Rome is an incredibly beautiful city — and, in my opinion, the best way to experience it is on foot. The famous landmarks are beautiful, but often packed with tourists, so you might spend more time waiting for that perfect photo than actually enjoying the place. Instead, wander down the side streets — they’re full of charm, history, and hidden gems. You'll often find the best places that way. Treat yourself to local restaurants away from the busy areas, where the food is authentic and the atmosphere is very relaxed. You’ll fall in love with the real Rome — the one that lives beyond the tourist trails. There’s so much more to discover when you explore off the beaten path. I will be returning, for sure!

I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. I had chosen a room in the annex as I wanted to sleep in a quiet place without too much people going in and out. The room was great and silent, even if it was over the busstation in Piazza Indipendenza, the windows are so thick that you can't hear the noise. And I loved the view of the piazza. The reception was nice and the breakfast is one of the best that I have had in Italy, so you shouldn't miss it. I had love to come back here :)

This guesthouse was one of the best places I stayed in during my trip to Italy. The hosts were very kind and responsive. The guesthouse is located a few minutes from the Vatican and it is also close to the subway so you can easily access other sites within Rome from here. There are also some very nice restaurants nearby. The guesthouse was very clean and tastefully decorated. They had. kettle, tea and a coffee machine in the room. I would high recommend it.

Lovely room and toilet, working A/C which seems like a rare find in Italy as i have stayed 3 hotels during my trip and only this one has a working A/C. The lady/owner was very nice and her son was very helpful when we were stuck outside at the door during the late night. The beds as well gave me one of the best sleeps throughout my stay in Italy. It has a perfect location where it's near the Metro station and also a walkable distance to the Colosseum.

Friendly and helpful reception staff. Surprising fluffy and tasty croissants (for Italy) during breakfast. The location was very good, just across the US embassy and many 5* hotels - fairly easy to reach, away from the tourist noise but still reasonable distance to all key areas in Rome. Much appreciated that they could book us a hire car to take us to the airport.

The fact that it had a lift this was a bonus for Italy and Rome itself. Unfortunately, that is probably the only thing I did like about the hotel. I think it’s fair that I am honest for myself and other travellers. As I read reviews for all bookings I make.
