A wonderful place to stay.
A wonderful place to stay. Just do yourself a favour and book one of the modern, refurbished rooms. I booked in the afternoon, so last minute, but so glad to choose this family owned and run hotel. We went for skiing.
We went for skiing. The slopes are exceptionally well prepared. It is a smaller resort than Alta Badia, for example, but this has its benefits as there were no queues and crowds. It is close to Nauders in Austria, so one could decide to try both resorts, but we didn't: we loved the Schoeneben ski area. Food at the restaurants is much cheaper than average for ski resorts in Europe, yet of the same high standard.Guest review byPetya

Views from the balcony of the relatively new room were truly fabulous. We stayed in the lodges which has been added later and features modern décor and a decent kitchen facilities.
