Fabio and Mirko were incredibly kind and generous hosts. Our arrival time was delayed several times because the airline lost our baggage, but they handled it very graciously. Fabio was immediately reachable via phone and accommodated every request. The room was spacious and clean, the shower very good. Spello was absolutely charming and we would recommend it and this B&B very highly.

Apartment was the perfect location in town. I loved being able to pop back in and drop off shopping bags or take a quick rest. Beautifully decorated and had everything I needed. Owner owns the restaurant close by and even gave me an aperitif upon my arrival. Would love to stay here again if I should visit Spello again.

Small and not overrun with lots of foreign tourists. Station very convenient so easy to use as a base to visit Asissi, Spoleto and Perugia, yet plenty to see in Spello. A delightful little hill town. Hard walking up hill but downhill all the way home if accommodation was at the bottom end of the walled city.

Spello is one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. It’s small but there is always something to see. Plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from and always a photo opportunity. Spello is an Italian dream.

Spello is a beautiful, super-friendly village that was the perfect town in which to decompress and enjoy a gentler pace of life after spending time in bigger cities. The views were amazing, the people everywhere were kind and welcoming, the food in restaurants amazing, and it is overall a gorgeous village, right on a main train line from Florence to Assisi and beyond.

Spello is by far the most beautiful town in the area. Inside the Roman wall, everything is beautifully maintained. There is fine dining of a quality far above what you would expect in a small town, Il Molino and La Cantina are exceptional. You do need a car to explore the area. Train travel to Roma and Firenze is easy which makes it a good base. Everything you need or want is within walking distance, but have to be able to walk up hills or it will be too difficult and you will miss most of it. I was there during the quiet of winter. I imagine it can get pretty busy in tourist season.

Stefania is an exceptional host. It's all about those little details and effort she puts in to make sure that your stay at her apartment is as magical as Spello itself. We were 2 friends and we had a comfortable bedroom each. Apart from the lovely decor and standard amenities such as towels, soap, cooking utensils etc., we also found coffees, teas, some locally sourced pastries, cold water and optional wine amongst countless other little comforts that push your stay up to another level! Villa Pandolfi Elmi was an absolute dream. If you’re looking for an authentic Spello experience with true Italian hospitality then this is the place. Fabrizio was a wonderful host who was always on hand to help and gave incredible recommendations for food and activities. You truly feel you’re in a home rather than a hotel, and the stroll into and out of Spello looking up at the village walls, or navigating the leafy country lanes, is a constant reminder of where you are.

I stayed in this lovely apartment with my partner, and we had a wonderful experience. The flower-lined access path was incredibly beautiful, and it was so nice to enter the house through it. The apartment is fully equipped, with everything you need—even down to the kitchen utensils. Aldina was so kind and helped us with everything we needed. The location is simply perfect, close to everything and situated in the most beautiful alley in Spello!! We highly recommend it.
