We traveled in a group of 5 and stayed in the two-bedroom suite as well as the standard double room. We were amazed at the beautiful, spacious and clean rooms with an antique flair. The fresco on the ceiling of the bigger suite is the cherry on top. Location is perfect in the historic center. Marco is a fantastic host and helped us with everything, from meeting us at the car park on arrival to making a restaurant reservation and letting us store our luggage after checkout. We loved Tivoli and will come back!

The host Andrea welcomed us, providing us with invaluable information regarding Tivoli’s attractions and how best to access them. We chose to use a recommended taxi service (Signore Rienzi) for the Villa Adriano and the Sanctuary of Hercules the Victor, but we walked the 1 KM to the Villa d’Este. The guest house is immaculate and well-appointed and quiet; our room faced toward Rome. There’s a beautiful terrace with panoramic views overlooking olive orchards. The breakfast was continental with other items as well. Everything was fresh and delicious, and our morning hostess was a delightful conversationalist, too.

    Villa d’Este was amazing and had waterfalls to rival Palace of Versailles. The walk through Villa Gregoriana gardens down the side of the hill to the bottom of the waterfalls was a solid hike and not for the feeble. Definitely take a couple of hours to visit Hadrian’s Villa (aka Villa Adriana) which had amazing historical half crumbling palace and ornamental lake.

    Parking at Massimo easy to use and always spaces, underground part as well. Plenty of restaurants and cafes, Taverna Dracula and Mom's fantastic. Best foccaccia ever at cafe near the bridge. Villa D'Este, Hadrians Villa and Hercules temple all on one ticket which lasts 3 days for €30, well worth it.

    Went to see the villas Gregoria, Adriana and D'este. I would not recommend Gregoria personally. In a deep valley, hundreds of stairs to climb, waterfall can be seen from one vantage point as can temples. Didnt think worth the time or money. Adriana interesting because of ruins. Three different lenghts of time offered to walk but with 36 degress thought 1.5 hours sufficient. Museum a must. The one villa that I thought superb was Villa D'este from the magnificent rooms and frescoes to the water features it was stunning. Lots of rooms - off rooms so need to look around and explore each part. Unfortunately to really get the best of the garden you need to travel down to the last level to appreciate it. Best to go early morning to avoid heat.

    We stayed at Al Catillo and was so close to everything. The restaurants were the best part of Tivoli as there were many to chose from and a great value. Beautiful town with very friendly locals. Everything was close enough to walk and shopping was great.

    I liked the area, lively, full of colour, lots of shops and restaurants and cafes. I particularly liked the Villa d'Este. The villa is stunningly beautiful and the gardens are lovely. Tivoli is easy to get around. If you stay near the centre , you cn walk everywhere. There are plenty of good places to eat.

    Well worth the visit.

    Well worth the visit. I stayed there to see Villa Adriana and Villa d'Este. Both were great, but Adriana in particular. I also liked the feel of Tivoli; despite having fairly famous visitor attractions (there is also Villa Gregoriana, although I did not explore that), it has a very "local" vibe.

    The accommodation was in a great central area of Tivoli, really close to everything. It was super clean, had a lovely outlook over the main square and a great outdoor space on the roof. Breakfast was in a small coffee shop down the road which was lovely. BEST of all was the owner Filippo who was the MOST amazing host - booked our restaurants, took us to breakfast each morning and was just so friendly and helpful.

    The hotel was in a good location, walking distance to Villa Adriana, and a short drive to Villa D'Este, where we parked in a two level carpark at Villa piazalle Matteotti. The hotel bar and restaurant were very nice. The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Veronica who was very professional and kind, as were the reception staff. Easy parking in on site car park.

    Lovely first floor suite in characterful traditional stone building, quiet setting but literally 1 minute walk to Tivoli’s amazing historic town centre and superb shops and restaurants. 20 minutes or so to train and bus stances.
