We had an amazing experience at the hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful—always smiling and available. The spa team were true professionals; we had an incredible massage. At the restaurant, they accommodated every special request without hesitation. The receptionists did their absolute best to ensure our satisfaction. A perfect place for an overnight stay on the Via Francigena. Completely renovated appartement in an old building, with everything you need (and working!), in a quiet street just off the path. Shortcut with spectacular views to the path next day. Highly recommended!

Through booking.com we reserved a 2 bedroom property. When we arrived we discovered that booking.com had mis-sold the property, there was only one bedroom. The owners were brilliant. They understood our situation, we each shared what booking.com had told us was booked and we could see that the two pieces of information were different. I wrote to booking.com about this but they don't seem concerned enough to respond. Shame on booking.com. We found somewhere else to stay at short notice but even then the owners tried to help by offering us a second additional property for just the cost of cleaning. Owners like this deserve to be better treated by booking.com than this and I can only speak highly of the support and understanding shown by the owners.

We only stayed a night on our way home. I was surprised by how nice it was. The staff called in advance to ensure my wife's wheelchair could get in the lift. The hotel sits on a vineyard with a panoramic view of rolling hills and Orvieto town as backdrop. We got to buy some delicious wine.
