Lovely Umbrian medieval walled hilltop town on the Assisi Trail. Breathtakingly beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Good restaurants, osterias and trattorias not yet having aspired to rip off prices. The town is well appointed, clean and cared for by the local authority. Plenty of parking and easy access by car. Trevi is a beautiful little town a gem hidden in the greenest region of Italy.. Umbria. it is a town which can be visited comfortably in a few hours, but don't forget to wear comfy shoes! as the majority of the Italian medieval towns, Trevi too, was built on a high hill - a strategic position to enable the original inhabitants to defend themselves from potential outside attacks. Because of this, walking about can prove to be very tiring to those with walking disabilities or very elderly people. Walking about in relax, sampling the magic of those streets made of stones with flower arrangements disposed outside every front door or step, taking a few minute to rest in the peace of the main church this is Trevi, and let's not forget the views from across the city walls which are simply magnificent.
