Our time in Setterhouse was a fantastic getaway from the stress and hub bub of city life. It has all of the ammenities and welcome of a typical bed and breakfast, with all of the warmth and affability of a country home. The owners of the property were exceptionally hospitable and kind; it may sound cliché, but they literally welcomed us like family! (I found myself getting sad when it was time to leave) The property has a great view of the valley, it's especially beautiful at sunset with the sun setting behind the mountains across the way. The food served at Setterhouse was yummy and fresh, the panna cotta with caramel sauce was particularly delightful. The location is also very good, you can walk from the property to the ancient city of Trevi in about 10 minutes. And of course, we had the singular pleasure of being surrounded by tons of dogs. Most of these furry friends were very sweet and sociable, they really enjoyed being petted and loved on. In fact, the first day I was sitting on some steps and one of the dogs, Emma, crawled into my lap and we cuddled for probably 30 minutes, she was so precious. Some of the dogs were more standoffish, but they did warm up to us throughout the week. If you're in this part of Italy and you love dogs, this place is an easy choice. Come and stay here!

    Lovely Umbrian medieval walled hilltop town on the Assisi Trail. Breathtakingly beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Good restaurants, osterias and trattorias not yet having aspired to rip off prices. The town is well appointed, clean and cared for by the local authority. Plenty of parking and easy access by car. Go there

    Trevi is a beautiful little town a gem hidden in the greenest region of Italy.. Umbria. it is a town which can be visited comfortably in a few hours, but don't forget to wear comfy shoes! as the majority of the Italian medieval towns, Trevi too, was built on a high hill - a strategic position to enable the original inhabitants to defend themselves from potential outside attacks. Because of this, walking about can prove to be very tiring to those with walking disabilities or very elderly people. Walking about in relax, sampling the magic of those streets made of stones with flower arrangements disposed outside every front door or step, taking a few minute to rest in the peace of the main church this is Trevi, and let's not forget the views from across the city walls which are simply magnificent. If you are in the area it would be a crime to miss it.

    The building is beautiful and right in the old city centre of Trevi. Owners are very friendly, the room is beautiful! Huge bathroom. Breakfast is good; a croissant, rusks with jam, Nutella, butter and honey, yoghurt with cereal and fruit. There was a beautiful outside terrace but it was too cold and windy to use it, unfortunately. Would recommend to stay here when in Trevi!

    The location was great to access the sights of the beautiful town of Trevi. The apartment was perfect for our family and the breakfast was very good. The staff were helpful and friendly. As it was a hot day, we loved having the pool to cool off. We would definitely stay here again.

    Scenary is amazing and there are a couple scenic routes to Trevi. Easily a place worth your money. Lodgings are rustic and I really liked the athmosphere.
