What Guests Said About Venice:

Venice is very unique!

Venice is very unique! I was so impressed when I got out of the train station and all you saw was the canals! I was there at the end of September. The weather was cool and it made it comfortable to walk everywhere. There is plenty to do! You can easily spend 2-3 days doing the museums, palace, and another day or 2 going to Murano and Burano. We walked to most places. But taking the water taxi is a lot of fun too. You have to also a few hours having a cocktail and people watching at one of the cafes in marks square. I would go back to Venice in a heartbeat!

This was my first visit to Venice, and the beauty and charm...

This was my first visit to Venice, and the beauty and charm were breathtaking. However, be prepared for the difficulties you may encounter traveling with luggage over the streets and bridges. We are an elderly couple, and thankfully several kind folks provided assistance. All of the people we met in Venice were warm and welcoming.

I loved Venice.

I loved Venice. It was clean and I love how there are no cars, everyone just walking around. Everything within close proximity. Whether you fly in or train in there are boats that take you into the area of Venice you wish to stay.

There is so much to see and do in Venice.

There is so much to see and do in Venice. We barely scratched the surface in our four days there. I will note the Vaperetto service does not run till 10AM, and the fare is $9.50 for a ride, so buying a daily pass can be a good value. But central Venice is easily walkable. Making advance reservations (or ticket purchases) is highly recommended at the key sites. Restaurants were a good value, but ask for prices if the daily specials include truffles.

I went to Venice with the words of some friends in my ears...

I went to Venice with the words of some friends in my ears about how much I was going to hate the place. Well - I was absolutely smitten with Venice - there was a pleasure, a sight or a joy around every corner. In ~2 days I visited all the major tourist attractions and also made it to Murano and Burano. It is true that the place is pretty touristy and I imagine that it could be overwhelming in the summer months. But mid-October was perfect weather and less touristique than I expected. I would happily have spent another 3-4 days in Venice had time permitted. Had a memorable dinner in the upscale Ristorante Moro near the Academia Bridge and a Vivaldi concert in the Chiesa Vidal. It was a perfect two days in a spectacular and fascinating city. Can't wait to go back.....

Very easy!! We arrived to Venice too early and the apartment wasn't ready but the host was nice enough to let us leave our luggage and he met us very shortly after and Neve the cleaning lady was extremely accommodating. The location was excellent. Very close to everything. The apartment is so nice and clean with a beautiful view of the canal at the back. It was our first trip to Italy and we are happy with our choice. We will come back and most definitely stay here!! Thank you for everything and your kindness!! Best luck always!

Casa Pusterla was the best choice of our visit in Venice. the apartment is spacious and fully equipped with everything one may need. it is located a few steps from the Bianalle in the loveliest quiet neighbourhood. The hosts Flavia and Marco waited for us at the vaporeto station and provided all the necessary information. better than any 5 stars hotel (as far as we are concerned)

Excellent , this interior completely immersed in the atmosphere of Italy . The furniture, the walls, the windows, it is the perfect place for the atmosphere of Venice . I am in awe of the people who work there and grateful for such hospitality. The balcony overlooking the bridge, I will never forget. It's the best I could have chosen con tutta l'anima. what they show in the pictures is what you get and can trust what they say! overall good facility although our experience in all Italy is that a star rating of the hotel do not match the expectation of the international travelers! in Italy and Venice, expect 0.5 to 1 star lower !

The island is stunning! An oasis escape from the tourists of Venice but a quick boat ride to all of the main islands. The bikes were amazing for getting to and from the boat, but also for exploring the island. The breakfast was also a stand out, the best we had in Italy!
