The hotel is a little different. Each room had a shower, but there is also a traditional shared space on the third floor. You can lock the room if you want to enjoy it alone. I loved it-a little bit of Japan.

Location was great. View was exceptional. The Onsen was amazing. Staff didn't speak much English, we communicated through Google Translate very effectively.

Everything was very clean and tidy. Had a lot of amenities and a good view too! Check in and out was pretty easy despite the language barrier. Breakfast looked delicious too (didn't have time to eat but I saw sausages). Took me a sec to figure out the thing about putting the card in the slot by the door to turn on the lights, but I eventually got it.
