Great views. Great trip. Only disappointment is the blue "lake" in Nakadake Crater. All the pictures show the "lake" while to my understanding it was destroyed during the 2016 earthquake. It was what drawn my attention to this location to begin with, so it was disappointing not seeing it. A brand new facility just opened in November. Great view from the room. The water pressure is good and the bed is comfortable. Nice space for two people, room size 25m² is larger than the Japanese standard. Staffs are nice and some can communicate in English. The breakfasts and dinners were traditional Japanese cuisine served by very respectful waitresses. Its well located for Mt Aso. We had our own private onsen which was an excellent way to end the day.
