The hotel is located in the heart of the tourist area, which is anywhere from the JR Shinkansen station to Himeji Castle. 10 minutes walk from the station, 15 minutes walk to Himeji Castle, surrounded by yokocho (shopping streets). The lobby is on the second floor but it's extremely spacious. The triple room is also extremely spacious, housing 3 beds and a sofa in a row with space to spare, with a traditional Japanese bathroom to top it off.

I stayed for one night in early May. One of the best Hotels I stayed in Japan. Great location close to the train station, and close enough to the castle so you could go there by foot. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was amazing, with a lot of options.

Very big hotel with large rooms. Clean and with all services. Next to a train and bus station, with many restaurants and cafè around.

Great location close to the station and a short walk from the castle. very friendly staff. parking for several cars (uses car lift so size limits apply). Great Japanese breakfast choice. Free ramen from 21.30-2300 every evening. roof spa (didn’t see or use though as stated only one night). Rooms a little dated but perfectly fine.

APA Hotel Himeji-eki-kita is conveniently located just a 6-minute walk from JR Himeji Train Station. It has a restaurant, massage services and well-equipped rooms.
