We stayed for one night while on a short road trip visiting family nearby. The front desk clerk was friendly and checked us in quickly. The bed was comfortable, and we slept well. Good amenities in the room. More amenities available at the front desk if needed. Everything was very clean. The breakfast was delicious and very economical for 100 yen! The location was easy to find and convenient to nearby family who was driving us. There was a Lawson store next door. We would stay here again if in the area.

I wasn't aware I booked a smoking room, which when I checked in and it really smells absolutely like a smoking room. Wonderful countryside stay, in traditional Japanese home with all you need to feel like a local. We loved to play vintage nintendo arcade games and cook with local ingredients. It’s a remote location, easily reachable if you are driving. It is a convenient stop over in between Koyasan and Kumano kodo.
