The location is good. It is about an 8-minute walk from Higashimuroran Station. You need to pay attention to prevent slipping on snowy days. The room is clean and tidy, and the service is thoughtful. I enjoyed my stay: the whole staff was very polite and friendly and the location was quite convenient - close to the station and within walking distance of the sights I wanted to see. The breakfast was simple (two hand-made rice balls, a boiled egg, some pickled vegetables and tea), but enough to start the day. Speaking a bit of Japanese helped me a lot, so it was easier to ask questions about the hostel rules and have conversations with the staff.

The property had a wonderful location in Date, with plenty of restaurants near by and the station only a 10 minute walk away. The host was incredibly helpful - they recommended us restaurants, things to do and replied very quickly to all our questions. This was one of the most pleasant stays I had over a month in Japan.
