Bicycling everywhere is my suggestion. What a quaint, kind island with wonderful eating options, gorgeous views and it is a quiet escape from the bustle of the bigger cities in Japan. I love everything about Naoshima, this was my 3rd visit...
I love everything about Naoshima, this was my 3rd visit there! The town bus makes it very easy to get around. It is getting more popular/busy so it can be necessary to book museum tickets, restaurants and even bikes in advance. A lot of things are closed on a Monday, so plan around that ( a good day to visit other islands). The 24 hour laundromat was a godsend! The nearby islands of Teshima and Inujima are beautiful also 😊Guest review byRosey
