Oito was absolutely beautiful, and the staff made our stay truly special. They were incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially with the language barrier, even assisting us with restaurant reservations. The design of the room and the cedar soaking tub were both impressive and relaxing. But, the highlight of our stay was definitely the breakfast. The team at Oito also manages the cafe at the front of the property, and as guests, we had the option to enjoy breakfast (for an small fee) before the cafe opened. It felt like having our own private chef. Though the menu was simple, it was absolutely delicious. Having the cafe to ourselves made for such a peacfeful and memorable start to the day. We highly recommend it!

Host greeted us despite arriving later than anticipated. She spent a generous amount of time going over the guesthouse, answered questions about our plans during our stay, and was incredibly helpful overall. The place itself was stunning with a garden view and an enormous bathtub we used every day. The place is incredibly well appointed with everything one needs for their stay. They thought of everything. We slept well and loved our time in Tamba and the surrounding area. We hope to come back some day and stay at Yasoichi again.
