Minshuku Wago is truly an exceptional place! The owner is incredibly kind, and the hospitality was the best we've experienced. It was a rainy and chilly day, and the owner kindly asked if we would like to use the ofuro, we said yes, and the owner prepared everything perfectly for my husband and me. The room was spacious and clean, and we appreciated having access to laundry. They also provided three delicious meals, including a bento for our Kumano Kodo hike. We felt so well taken care of. highly recommended!

Our stay at Kumano Winery Guest House was exceptional. Giovanni and his wife were incredibly welcoming and made the experience feel personal and warm. The food was outstanding. A great small guest house. The hosts were very pleasant and accommodating, very good English skills. Thank you! Everything was clean, the futon beds actually were surprisingly comfortable. We very much enjoyed the private onsen! Since the guesthouse is not big we did not have to wait to use it even once. The location is very nice, it is near the river and everything is within walking distance (except for groceries shop but that is expected in such a remote area).
