The Drexel House was a private and calming escape after our safari. Property is lush and very well cared for. Staff are thoughtful and charming as well as skilled. Food was made with love and very tasty. (The butternut soup was among my favorite dishes of our entire trip across Kenya!) We even saw some incredible birds we had not encountered on safari while sitting outside during our stay. Location is very close to the Elephant Orphanage and Giraffe Center as well as good food options.

This is where we stayed as soon as we landed in Nairobi. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Rooms are very well maintained and super clean. They provide all toiletries and you get hot water to bathe anytime. They have a restaurant functioning from 6am to 11pm and they serve amazing food. The location is easily accessible to all the tourist locations and cabs are very easy available. Shoutout to all the staff who are super amazing.     Safety is the best of Karen.

    Safety is the best of Karen. It's quiet, a lot of nature, sidewalks (so good for walking/running). Waterfront mall has everything you need, CJ's restaurant are high quality. Same with Naivas markets. It might be hard to get public transport, but Uber-Bolt are in 1000s. Giraffe center and Waterfront amusement are great places to visit. The Legend restaurant is more than amazing too.

    The host really goes the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. Fully equipped apartment, including drinking water, washing machine, insecticide, condiments, great towels, awesome office chair. It's an old compound but inside apartment everything is well-kept. Karen is safe and great for walking/running around. Walking distance to Waterfront mall and Chinese superstore. I thought gym was included but my bad, a commercial gym is also walking distance (too expensive though). 100% recommended, surely be back!

    Thoroughly enjoyable stay at this self-contained place hosted by Jacque. It is clean and spacious. It also has all the amenities that you need in the kitchen and bathroom. It is within a safe and quiet part of Karen with malls and restaurants being within walking distance or a short Uber ride. Check in and check out was effortless.

    We were met on arrival by Naomy who was very friendly and helpful. The location was close to tourist attractions - Giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen Museum. Bomas of Kenya. It was in a gated community so felt safe.

    Very big, clean and nice apartment. Close to Giraffe Center and Karen Blixen Museum. Not very close to CBD, but Bolt is cheaper. Very safe. Good communication with the owner. Terrace outside! Recommend!
