We visited Horton Plains and were looking for a place that felt safe, peaceful, and like home — and Tea Sprig Villa Boralanda was the perfect find! This is one of the newest and safest villas in the area, and from the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. We stayed for 2 nights, and what made this place even more special is that we were their very first guests — what an honor! 🙏 The family running the villa is super friendly, warm, and caring. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and made with so much love. The clean fresh air, hot water, and beautiful surroundings made us feel like we were in heaven. This place is quiet, clean, and perfect for anyone looking to relax and recharge. We’re so grateful for the hospitality and unforgettable experience. We will definitely come again. The property was in a beautiful and convenient location in Haputale. The room we stayed in had one of the best views I’ve ever seen. The prices were very reasonable. There were several food items to pick from the dinner and breakfast menus. Overall highly recommended for locals and tourists both!

The house is beautiful and surrounded by nature. Ideal for relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet. I felt very comfortable and welcome right from the start. The owner was very nice and attentive. We went hiking twice. The room, as well as the whole house, was very clean and comfortable. In the room there is a kettle and I could cook in the kitchen. It is outside bandarawela but the owner organised a tuk tuk for me and there is a bus stop up the road. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

The staff were beautiful people, very helpful and accommodating. The views are splendid. The FOOD IS THE BEST PART. Amazing buffets, im usually not a fan of buffet, but they were real good. They spoil you rotten. I felt like being within the property only instead of going out.

Wow! We had a perfect 2 nights here! Saman is such a lovely and accommodating. He arranged a tuk tuk in the morning to visit Lipton Seat for sunrise and parked our rented tuk tuk safely by his home. The food here is incredible! We had the best curry and best Sri Lankan breakfast of our entire trip and all so reasonable. The views are breathtaking, shower lovely and hot and a very comfy bed. Nicely located just out of town, a short tuk tuk ride to the station. We couldn’t rate them higher :)

This was my second visit in Ohiya. This place is very special. The combination of the breathtaking nature and amazing people is fabulous! Well this place is not a luxury hotel. It is totally about the nature and the family who run the guesthouse :)
