We highly recommend this place, absolutely beautiful views, 7 min walking from restaurants, clean and spacious room and one of the best breakfast we had in Sri Lanka. The night that we arrived to Ella the guy who runs the place, came to pick up us for free, he was super helpful giving us tips and advice about what and when to see places. We asked a couple of time just for hot water to prepare te and both times they give us a big pot of tea with cookies and some fruits for free. Really lovely family, we will come back for sure!

A very nice hotel in Ella. The rooms are large and clean. The manager is extremely friendly and courteous. He always asks if everything is okay and responds immediately to any requests. The breakfast is delicious and offers a wide selection of local and international specialties. The hotel is in a great location. It is secluded, so you can enjoy peace and quiet, but the main street is only a few minutes' walk away. The view is spectacular. We would definitely come back again.

I really enjoyed the Little Adam’s Peak adventure area. The hotel I stayed at was in such a beautiful location — not just in one place, but surrounded by lovely views and a very nice environment all around.

One of our favourite places in SL, had much more of a town...

One of our favourite places in SL, had much more of a town feel. It is touristy but just means lots of place to eat. The hikes are amazing and were one of our favourite parts of our trip. Beware the scammers when going up Ella rock - it's a little confusing to find the path and locals will try to lead you away from the main path to 'guide' you

Ella is a wonderful place to explore.

Ella is a wonderful place to explore. It’s very clean and has breathtaking views everywhere. The people are kind, the local food is amazing, and it’s perfect for families, friends, or groups. With easy access to Nine Arches Bridge, Little Adam’s Peak, Ella Rock, and tea plantations, it’s an ideal base for a week of sightseeing and adventure.

People are really friendly and welcome tourists.

People are really friendly and welcome tourists. City is very small, but attractive. The 9 arches bridge is a place everyone would like to visit. Food available in the restaurants are really testy in a reasonable price. The train ride to ella was a memorable one.

It is very safe and tourist-friendly, nice climate. not hot, not tool, cold. Nice view of the mountains. Lot of foreigners. Food and services are mostly for foreigners which is not too hot, a good mix of local and international food, but very reasonably priced.

We loved the Mountain View’s.

We loved the Mountain View’s. The Main Street is a little crowded and all of the walkways are uneven. Everything is on a hill and there is a lot of walking . Stairs do not have handrails. The sites to see in the city are not easily accessible without transportation. Tuk tuk rides are very bumpy. Most of the tourists in the city are young . As an older traveler over 70, I would not recommend this location to an older adult unless you are very healthy and have good stamina for walking, heat, and bumpy rides.

The hotel is new, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The rooftop pool is nice with a good view of Ella Rock. The staff are wonderfull, and were available to help with everything I needed. Especially Ajey helped me feel welcome and gave me his personal phone number to communicate comfortably if I need anything. And even helped me find a room when I wanted to stay longer and the hotel was fully booked.

This is an excellent hotel. We struggled in Ella because there are so many options and it's hard to tell from photos/reviews. We moved from another place to Ella Soul and it was great. Clean, spacious rooms. Top food in the restaurant with a nice view. Helpful staff. Good location 5 mins max walk from centre. And great value for money. Favourite hotel of Sri Lanka trip.

Nimal really looked after us at our stay. He hand drew my dad a map to hike from the hotel to the top of Ella rock. Room was spacious and clean with a nice bathroom. Nice and quiet with great views overlooking the mountains and only a 10 min walk into Ella down the train tracks. Lovely dogs.
