I had such a great experience staying at this hotel. It is very newly built, so everything felt fresh and clean. The room was super spacious and really comfortable and had everything I needed, like tea/coffee making facilities, a mini fridge, and a safe locker. One of my favorite parts was the rooftop restaurant. The panoramic sea view from up there is absolutely stunning, especially at sunset it honestly felt like heaven. The food was delicious too, really exceeded my expectations. The staff were just lovely ,always helpful, attentive, and smiling. It really made the stay feel warm and welcoming. Definitely planning to come back again.

Beautiful colonial house, quaint, clean, comfortable and recently refurbished ! Very close to the beach and only a 10 minute walk to the village centre ! The ownner , pleasant and helpful , is excellent at organizing tours as well as driving you there. A good and tasty breakfast is served at Blue Maalu Resort , a short distance away ( 5 minute walk ), with an fantastic sea view overlooking a small clean beach !

Beautiful property for those who want to relax and chill away from the busy city .they do provide free drop to hikkaduwa. The beach near is almost a private beach and very good. The whole house is very beautiful, good pool and surroundings . In house restaurant serves good food and they cater to all our requirements. The staff here is also very cooperative and helpful . One of the best accommodations we had so far in Sri Lanka and we can't recommend it enough! Everything was like described and care takers were super friendly. Brand new property which have a front view to the beach at the same time its conveniently situated next to the main road, which made finding a public transport or tuk-tuk super easily. One of the highlights of our stay was sitting in the balcony with breathtaking sunset views, cool music playing and a variety of delicious dishes creating a perfect setting for drinks. Overall, my experience at the Ocean front Villa was nothing short of magical. Whether you’re looking for a beach getaway or a base to explore Sri Lanka’s shore, this place is a gem that should not be missed!

A fantastic hotel in a great and quiet location. The facilities are new, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean. We stayed in a wonderfull room with a kitchenette, perfect for spending several days. A special mention goes to the manager, Methsiri. He helped us with everything and was incredibly attentive. He recommended a nearby restaurant with delicious dishes, and he also arranged a taxi to our next destination. We’ll never forget you, Methsiri! Thank you for everything!

Our experience was wonderful at this family hotel. They made us feel at home, were super attentive, Chamod is a 10 uncle, helped us in many things and got us everything we asked for nothing in return something not so usual. The mother cooks very well, she prepared us a delicious breakfast. The room was clean and cozy. A 10 for family and place, very recommendable.

We’ve been visiting Sri Lanka with our family for many years, but very few places have impressed us as much as Splendour Residence. Sure, there might be some minor imperfections here and there – but they’re completely outweighed by how smoothly everything runs and how exceptional the guest care is. The staff is absolutely fantastic – from the owner to every single member of the team. Everyone is kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. Our little daughter received such lovely attention and care, and it made the whole stay even more special for us. The food was excellent, and the surroundings – both indoor and outdoor – were beautiful. There is a clear emphasis on space and comfort throughout the property, which we truly appreciated. The entire hotel feels well-thought-out, peaceful, and harmonious. I sometimes give a 10/10 rating on Booking, even when a place has a few flaws that are balanced by other strengths. But Splendour Residence deserves more than just a perfect score. If I could rate it higher, I absolutely would. We even changed our travel plans just to stay a little longer – that’s how much we loved it here. And if we ever return to Sri Lanka, there’s no doubt – we’ll be coming back here.
