wow, we really loved it here! it’s brand new and stylish. rooms are big and the beds are sooo incredible comfy, the best we have slept in Sri Lanka! also very nice to have a fully equipped kitchen to use :) the garden is also awesome to wind down and relax, the beach is only 100m walk away, yay! the area has lots of nice shops and restaurants too! thank you so much for making our last days in Sri Lanka so wonderful and driving us in the middle of the night safely to the airport! highly recommend staying here! all the best!

We stopped here for 1 night prior to flying home. What a little gem. Short walk to the beach, bars and restaurants. Hotel is clean, the rooms are trendy, tasteful and comfortable. There is a little pool with a few sun beds. We only experienced dinner, which was very nice and did not disappoint as my final Sri Lankan curry and rice. The roof top terrace is lovely in the evening and the staff were all great. Bonus is free airport transfers. Lives up to everything you expect from a Boutique Hotel.

This stay was my first 1.5 days in Sri Lanka after a very delayed flight. The hosts were incredibly friendly and were very helpful with local knowledge. The location of Mama Beach Villa is central to most of Negombo but set on a wonderfully quiet street with a beautiful lush garden. The perfect place to adjust to the warm weather and catch up on sleep. A comfortable bed and very tidy and clean.

Clean Rooms and Comfort Rooms in Negombo. I have went to the more places negombo but no rooms like here like freshness in Rooms. Really nice clean and tidy neat rooms in this Hotel. Close to the beach and staff was very smily and nice. Breakfast was superb ( best of buffet in lanka). Nice to stay in here at least a day before a tired flight. Like to stay longer unfortunately no time.

We stayed at the hotel prior to a return flight to the UK. It was the sixth hotel we'd used in our trip to Sri Lanka and by far the best. we had a lovely, large, double-aspect room where all the facilities worked and were easy to work out. (We had discovered that convoluted and incomprehensible light switching is a feature of hotels in Sri Lanka but not this one.)

We had a wonderful stay at Maria Villa. Janet made us feel right at home making our visit to Negombo nicer and welcoming. Our room was spacious and very clean; a nice size bathroom with hot water. The rooftop offers beautiful views of the area. Maria Villa is located on a quiet street within walking distance to shops, restaurants and beach. We would stay here again.

We were really happy with our stay. The hotel is very nice, right at the beach and with a nice pool. Perfect for relaxing. We stayed for 2,5 days before our flight. There are also a lot of restaurants in the area. The biggest plus was the bed - so comfortable!!! The pillows were so soft as well as the mattress, definitely our best sleep in Sri Lanka.

The owner and staff were very nice and helpful. They provided us with information and also organised a transportation for us. The food we had there was the best on our Sri Lanka trip! The location is good - with shops, restaurants, Negombo beach nearby. A good choice for our first night in Sri Lanka.

It’s a small place where it was easy to meet and chat with other travelers. It’s nearby the airport so easy and quick to get to. Within walking distance of the beach. The pool area is quiet and relaxing. The hotel was very accommodating, offering great breakfast and very delicious dinners.

Close enough to airport, arrived late and meant we could be at the hotel within around 20 minutes. Close to Negombo beach so we took a morning stroll there the next day. Hosts very friendly - smoothie on arrival, lovely breakfast and helped sort out transfer for us.

20 minutes from the airport. The hotel has a taxi service, too. You can take a tuk-tuk from the hotel to Negombo restaurant area close to the Negombo Beach. The hotel can arrange it for you. It takes 20 minutes. Breakfast was good. The hotel staff was excellent.

Great location, property is ideal for Negombo area, beach access straight from hotel. Pool was lovely and refreshing. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Basic room but did the job and we enjoyed the restaurants in the local area.

Highly recommend this hotel. Excellent night. Very clean, walking distance to the beach and very taste sri lankan breakfast.. love it. Beautiful place. Thank you soo much for the nice stay. 🥰

Nice beachfront hotel in Negombo. We booked the family room, it was comfortable enough for five of us and has a big swimming pool too. Overall worth what you spent there.

The best thing about this hotel is its location right on Negombo beach. Although, it does not appear to be a swimming beach. Decent swimming pool and good food.

the beach was clean and the hotel rooms were comfortable. The staff did their best to make our stay comfortable.
