The rooms were beautiful, we were given an upgrade to a room with a view of both the water fall and the reservoir. Absolutely breathtaking and great to watch sunset! The food was some of the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka, and the hotel is so peaceful. It’s walking distance to Ramboda Falls and a short TukTuk ride to tea plantations. Highly recommend staying here!

Everything! The location, the property and the view are amazing. The owner and the staff are both very polite, helpful and friendly. They let us take a closer look to their bee hives when we requested it and did everything to get to us something that we forgot at our room on our next destination. Exceptional Hospitality and a Beautiful Stay We had an unforgettable experience at Lavender house. Even though we arrived late at 11:00 PM, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome by providing a fantastic dinner. Their kindness and attention to detail truly stood out. It’s hard to put into words just how beautiful this place is—it’s something you need to see to believe! Every moment spent here was worth every penny, and the ambiance was absolutely perfect. A special thanks to Saman, whose exceptional service made our stay even more memorable. If you’re considering a visit to Sri Lanka, I wholeheartedly recommend Lavender house. You won’t regret it!

We stayed for two nights in the second week of December. The staff were so friendly and professional. The room was clean and comfortable. The food was delicious and the environment beautiful. We also had heaters. Note: The food will not be delayed. If you call the reception to order and let them know the time, they will be punctual. We asked them to bring breakfast to our room at 9 AM, and they arrived on time. This was the same for both dinner and lunch. We did not experience any delays

This is a beautiful boutique hotel with a stunning view . The facilities are excellent, the room was beautiful with luxurious towels and robes. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We had dinner which was excellent and also a delicious breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel .
