Absolutely exceptional - an oasis of peace, comfort... great pool including facilities - I enjoyed relaxation like nowhere else... Great attitude towards the guest - they will fulfill your every wish, everywhere and always a smile and positive energy. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was very welcoming and always ready to help, which made the experience even better. The room was clean, comfortable and perfect for a relaxing stay. The food was delicious. The location offered a lovely view which made it a peaceful and enjoyable place to stay.I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good hotel in Negombo/waikkal area.

Beautiful location next to a river with lots of wildlife around. Beautiful grounds to walk alround with lots of interesting statues etc .Lovely clean pool and great food. The owners were friendly and helpful. Pool surrounded by coconut trees and you can watch as the fearless coconut man climbs a tree and shimmies across the ropes from one tree to another placing pots to collect the toddy. We were given drinks to try .. delicious the food was good too especially the coconut honey . Great place to relax away from everything . The cabin was huge with seating area inside and outside to watch the squirrels running around .

One bedroom villa was spacious and very clean. River view is second to none. Also this place is kids friendly and swimming pool is beautiful. Main highlight is dinner and breakfast. It’s very delicious. Highly recommend this place.

Perfect stay at the Karanukarala Ayurveda resort, especially the Ayurveda treatment was wonderful. In the beginning, the crew told me it was fully booked, but in the end, they managed to schedule it for me. The room was big, and really clean and the beds were very comfortable. I enjoyed my stay there, especially to relax (recommend the yoga and meditation classes).

Beautiful seaside villa with swimming pool, spatious space and rooms. Due to some serious family situation we had to leave after one night instead of 5 booked nights and owners were very nice and helpful, they charged us only for one night. This place is for people who like privacy, silence and place far from the city rush. The city center is quite far, cca 30 min by tuktuk. You can order food in the villa, we tried only breakfast and it was good.

Mr. Marcus will make your trip a real holyday. Even wild crocodiles that live in the nearby river dream to move to the magic canals of Puetz Travels Beach Resort. I wish i were among the lucky ones. Quiet place with pure nature, river and ocean around, clean pool, nice bungalows (great idea of small houses with direct path to the beach), good beach area, friendly staff. A cute couple of dogs living in the hotel was an advantage :) Every time you want to go out of the hotel, you need to take a hotel boat to cross the river, which is very interesting and not so common for many hotels, but you need to make sure that a boatman is there!
