Amazing retreat tucked away in the rain forest, with monkeys and loris all over the property! The staff was incredible, and the cottages are amazing. We felt like royalty the whole time we were there.

Perfectly situated close to Wilpattu national park. Roshan is a great host and property is so comfortable with all facilities. Very clean and Roshan helped us arrange safari as well to the national park. Food was great and overall really good !

Greeted by super friendly staff. Rooms are great. Our tree house was right next to a monkey family’s tree house ;-) we walked around the lodge, had amazing three course dinner, went on a late night river boat safari, and a half day morning safari. Spotted crocs, elephants, saw fresh leopard footprints (couldn’t spot the cat, however she was definitely there), so many different birds, monkeys. Had breakfast from the provided basket and lunch when we arrived back at the lodge. The location is great, on the river, close to the Wilpattu entrance. We stayed one night but can recommend staying two.

The service at Wild Wadi Wilpattu is impeccable. You will never meet people who will do more for you. The location is a serene paradise; when you stroll out in the morning you see peacocks and monkeys, and in the evening you can sup a cold beer and watch the forest colors change from green to purple to black. It’s a magical place. The food was amazing and the full day safari they arranged for us was superb. The hospitality of Aryun and team was unrivaled. You can book with one of the incredibly expensive places that come up first on google, or you can book with Wild Wadi Wilpattu and have a more personal experience for half the price.

The overall service and culinary experience were exceptional. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond when we requested Halal food by personally showing us their preparations to ensure our comfort. The food itself was a major highlight and truly the most delicious we had in Sri Lanka. We especially appreciated that the chef prepared the food exactly to our preference. The glamping tent was spacious and well-made, and we enjoyed a delightful BBQ around a bonfire. Our full-day safari was very successful; we were lucky enough to spot two leopards and elephants, making for an impressive wildlife experience. A memorable moment occurred when a leopard approached in the evening we suspect the aroma of our cooking Halal meat might have been the attraction! Overall, the seamless operation, high standard of service, excellent food, and the thrill of the jungle proximity made this a truly remarkable stay.
