The room and bathroom were spacious, with lots of spare place to store personal things. Bed was super comfortable, including pillows with memory foam. There was a small convenient refrigerator in the room, as well as kettle with tea and coffee. The place is located in a small town. Parking space is not designated, but we always got a free spot near on the street. When you enter from the main street, you instantly feel calm and quiet. The house is beautifully designed. It also has backjard pool with sunbeds, billiard room, lots of books to borrow and nice breakfast room. Breakfast is outstanding and made to your liking each day. The owner is really nice, she made us feel welcome and provided anything we needed (early breakfast, bottle opener, UK charger..).

Very clean facilities on a great location. The property was next to a supermarket which is handy but same time the countryside view from the balconies and the outside space contribute to a great get-away feeling. For sure a property that we would visit again.

    Gharb is a traditional village. Nice atmosphere. Quiet. But populated during evenings. Access with public bus: the bus arrives every hour, so you'd better walk. The services like Bolt and Uber are a good option to travel longer distance

    If you want a sleepy town full of character and away from...

    If you want a sleepy town full of character and away from the bustle - but within striking distance of the best of Gozo - then Gharb might be just the place. There’s great place to eat in the shadow of the church and another very good and reasonably priced restaurant just down from the square.

    Beautiful countryside with distant sea views.

    Beautiful countryside with distant sea views. Very quiet and rural. Close to shops and supermarket. Bars and restaurants within walking distance. We travelled via scooter on ferry from Malta (25 mins crossing) and took just 10 mins to arrive at the hotel. Bus stops were very close to the hotel.

    Gharb may not be centre of Gozo but you can manage well from...

    Gharb may not be centre of Gozo but you can manage well from there. Bus is scheduled on hourly basis from Gharb. You can walk from Mushroom stone till Zwejni Bay covering all attractions in 3-4 hours. Ta Pinu basilica is at walking distance and so is Gharb church.

    If I compare Malta, gozo with other places around the world,...

    If I compare Malta, gozo with other places around the world, I would not come to visit Malta at all. It's not worthed. Luckily we met every day interesting people to make our stay enjoyable. The quality of food is very poor, no development in the island. That's a pity. It could be much better, if it will be made more statt for tourism. It might be a good idea to improve it, changing the management through European people and not just from the local. The standard will not improve at all otherwise.... Anyway I don't suggest anyone to come on Malta, or Gozo. The Fotos are just made off. It's not as it's sold.

    Gharb is a charming laid back Gozitan Village.

    Gharb is a charming laid back Gozitan Village. There are some interesting museums, eateries, and from some properties you can see the Ta Pinu Sanctuary. Gharb Rangers, Bar & Restuarant is a local restuarant. - Salvina's restuarant is also in Gharb. In San Lawrence, very close to Gharb we visited Tatitas - superb food, gracious staff and great for couples and friends celebrating a special occasion. We ventured to Xaghra, Tal Furnar for some authetic homemade pizza and slow cooked pork. On our last day, we had lunch at The View in Zebbug, Gozo. There are good opportunities for walking and trekking from Gharb to Ta Pinu; from Gharb to St Dimitri Chapel and from Gharb to Wied il-Mielah.

    Such a peaceful base for our family to begin our Gozo & Malta adventure! The B&B is run with love and care by Marco & Corinne and we felt very welcome. The breakfast was amazing, the pools were small but gorgeous (my boys preferred them to the big busy pool in our next hotel) and our family room with bunk beds was great. It was also really good value for money!

    Our host is an incredibly kind, thoughtful and tasteful person. He will prepare you wonderful traditional breakfasts in the morning. He's doing everything he can to make you comfortable. The hotel's location is also in the center of Gharb. It is a clean and tidy hotel. A safe hotel in the comfort of your own home. Thank you for everything.

    The hotel is beautiful with some old things as decorations. It has nice charms. Staff in the hotel is very friendly, polite and helpful. Room was very nice with sea and cliffs view so you can see sunsets. The hotel is located in a quiet village not far from famous ta Pinu church. Was nice to wake up with singing of birds.
