Perfect place to stay, we stayed for 7 nights. The room was excellent, with a balcony overlooking the villa's garden, kitchen with fridge/freezer and cooking facilities, good A/C and a very comfy bed. Floor and a roof-terrace for guests. Within walking distance of various shops and restaurants and every morning fresh baguette from the bakery and not to forget the bus stop around the corner. Jay and Henri are good hosts and also give tips on what you can do in the area. We really enjoyed Shanti Nivas. Highly recommend if you're in the area! Jay and Henry THANKS.

The location of the property is absolutely perfect in the east of Mauritius. The pool is very clean and properly maintained. The property is very well maintained with all the amenities present like iron, cylinder, microwave, fridge, water heater. It was all in all perfect.

The place is really nice, clean and has a great price, but what we loved most was the people. This was one of the best experiences I had in a hotel. Jankee, the owner of the place, and his family are great people. They gave us a lot of tips and offered to show us the island several times for small prices and told us about their history and culture. Many of these places were only known by locals He also offered to look for you at the airport. The prices he offers are much better than what any taxi will charge you. He also shared his life history, and at the end of the 7 days we were there, we felt like part of the family. The place also counts with the fridge, and for a price laundry and dinner If we could, we would set more than a 10. GREAT experience We wish them the best

We had a wonderful stay! The beach and hotel grounds were beautiful, and the service was excellent. The Plantation Restaurant was amazing and absolutely delicious. We loved the free water sports and the kids club had lots of daily activities. Everything was perfect—we’ll definitely be back!

It was our honeymoon stay and we are more than happy that we chose this small, cute, cosy boutik hotel. We were inlove with sea view from our room. Everything was wonderful. We felt really welcome. What a lovely little adults-only hotel! Comfy bed, attentive staff, spectacular lunch every day at the little van round the side of the restaurant. The pool is in a perfect sheltered spot because it was exceptionally windy (that's the East in May for you) and the beach was not an option. Although just a 10/15 minute walk further around the coast and Trou d'eau Douce beach was much more calm. There is an awesome little shop with some really good options for mementoes or gifts. Staff of course were just wonderful - even the guy we thought of as 'grumpy barman' until we got to know him lol. The spa is gorgeous - do yourself a favour and get a treatment there (just avoid nail treatments, it's not their strong suit). Scrub and massages were to die for.
