Hello. Stayed at this hotel in April 2025. Very nice, clean and new hotel. Very responsive staff that will help cool your vacation. I would like to make a special mention of the cook Yugesh. A very nice and talented guy who will cook everything just the way you want it. He will also answer your questions. Have a good vacation and pleasant impressions!

Very hospital and friendly hosts, a lot of marine activities, and the local vibes only found in this small inhabited island. The local family hosts are very friendly to us. Even though we only had 4 days stay there, they helped arranging all the marine activities into the limited schedule, so that we succeeded in watching Dolphins, Turtles and swimming with Mantas and Whalesharks! Located in the South Ari Atoll where those sea animals are always around, this hotel is definitely a hidden gem for the marine life lovers. Although the facility is not so fancy as upscale resort hotels, the guest house and our room was full of hospitality with their hand made decorations. White Tern is an only hotel in Dhidhdhoo island which has probably only 100-200 population and is tiny island that 30 mins walk is enough to browse all the islands. The island itself has very local atmosphere and we enjoyed having coffee, local snacks and the local chewing tobacco with local residents at one of the only two tea shops in Dhidhdhoo (In fact, as there are only two small tea shops in the island, if you want something more proper dinner, eating at White Tern is the best option). Communication is very easy and very responsive on WhatsApp. Before the stay and even during the stay, you can always talk to them on WhatsApp.

A sensational, once in a life time holiday! The holiday destination id always dreamt off, was everything we’d expected and more! Can’t recommend this resort enough, from the beautiful layout, good quality and tasty food to amazing hospitality and service. A special thank you to hailam and pradip at eats and beets. They knew our sunset drink order every night, touches like this make the experience both personable and memorable! The checkout was extremely smooth and professional by oybek. We stayed at White Sand Inn for 3 nights. And would stayed there again for sure. Great price performance, frendly and welcoming team. They arranged the transfer to and back, they arranged whale shark trip(found whale sharks in no time + Mantas), after whaleshark seeing went snorkling on different reefs(included in price). (Through out all the trip they arranged all the transitions to different exit points) They have option to get bikes (out prefered way of exploring thing(for free)). The owner arranged picnic island trip, again for free(maybe exlusive ocasion, but still, it happened:)) Great breakfast. Clean rooms. They offer to wash and dry your cloathing, again free, which shows the hospitality that we receved. The bikini beach is 2min away. Scuba center(Shamar guest house) is next door. Our dive guide also stayed at white sand. (Shamar and white sand are owned by two brothers). All in all great experience, I would recommened it to anyone who is planning to go to Maamigili. 10/10.

We had the best holiday ever at Villa Sun Island in the Maldives. The beaches truly look like paradise – the Maldives are one of a kind. The food was very good and the staff extremely kind and helpful. A very special thanks goes to Nihad, who made our stay even more memorable. Thanks to her, we got a beach villa with a pool, which elevated our entire holiday by 100%! The evening entertainment program was excellent, our child really enjoyed the Kids Club, and the main pool with the swim-up bar was absolutely fantastic. We are truly grateful and will never forget this amazing experience. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a dream vacation! 🌴✨

It was not my first time in Maldives and my experience there...

It was not my first time in Maldives and my experience there was disappointing compared to my previous trips in other resorts. The quality of service is poor and it’s a shame because the resort is lovely and the staff are nice but lack professionalism.

Awesome place.

Awesome place. Everything and everyone was perfect until departure. We stopped by reception twice to inquire about our sea plane departure the following day. We were assured we would receive ample notification. At 4:50am in a deep sleep, we were awaken by a room call notifying us that pick up was in 10 minutes. No time to bathe or pack properly to head into our 19 hour travel journey but yet we had to wait over an hour in reception. Not happy.

We stayed 5 nights there 3 nights at water villa 113 and 2 nights at beach villa 209 and it was the mind blowing experience, I really have no words to explain from staff to facilities to manners to every single detail was more than perfect specially I would like to salute the GM general manager Gavin sanders he is a gem of a person I never saw a gm taking care of guests personally like this and specially I would like to mention the jeevan at morning n dinner buffet and kk at marhab bar cocktailswithkk, and arsham at reception and rani , salute to all of them

Firstly the location of the resort itself is beautiful.

Firstly the location of the resort itself is beautiful. 45 minutes from Male via sea plane so its another journey at the end of a long journey getting to the Maldives but it is worth it. The over water villa we stayed in was also beautiful and better than i had hoped for. However after reading lots of other reviews and having stayed here the reviews are very accurate and some very basic things tarnish the overall experience and these are purely the responsibility of the Radisson and the management team in charge. The miss management is bad and quality of food is unacceptable, its more about very poor quantity of food than any quality and to make things worse the money being charged for this unacceptable food is disgracefully expensive.
